We have had some banner days in the last couple of months. Baffin Bay has been producing some sow trout. We have had several trout in the 10 lb class with alot of 7 to 9 lb trout and some huge redfish mixed in. Flounder have showed up in full force and some big ones have come to hand up to 5lbs. Spring is here and the topwater bite should be in full swing in the near future. We will be concentrating on schools of mullet in waist deep or less water. Mid bay shell will also produce trout on topwaters and jigs rigged with bass assassin. I am still catching some huge trout on Corky's and shedogs in East Matagorda Bay. The fishing is great right now and only going to get better.
